My project

My third week at the school was very important for me because developed my unit project about The Circus in Year 3. In this school there are two groups for each course, so put in practice my lesson plan with both A and B groups.

Now, after finishing my project I can say that it is a good one, because children learn a lot of things and I achieved my aims. So, I think that I can repeat it with other groups because they had fun while they’re learning. However, I have to make some improvements if I want to repeat it, because sometimes they are too much excited because of the games.

For example, I have to know the names of my pupils (that now it was a little bit difficult because I only see them 3 hours per week) because I did not give the same chances to participate to everyone, or I pointed someone, which is not very good. I also need more class management because they talk a lot and they get distracted easily. If one student does something funny they all start doing the same thing. Moreover, I have to control the time, because sometimes I spend too much time in one activity and not too much in another one that perhaps it is more important. And I need more strategies for ending the lesson, reviewing what we did previously. Finally I also have to improve my English and my pronunciation because I would be their model.
