Statment of intent

Along this teaching practice, I would like to go deeply into English teacher’s function in the school, I mean, go thorough the different ways and styles that the teacher has to have in the courses, according to the age of the children. In addition, I would like to work on the different strategies that the school uses to teach a foreign language, trying to apply them during my microteaching and the other class interventions.

I would like to put in practice all the theoretical methods and ideas that I have learned in the university over these years. Furthermore, I would like to learn as much as possible and do as much practices as I can during this period in order to have experiences teaching in English and in the future feel more confortable and secure in the foreign languages classes.

During this teaching practice I would like to learn some techniques to teach English in a fun and engaging way, trying to catch the attention of my pupils whereas I’m teaching. Moreover, I would like to learn how to do some cooperative games and group activities with only one teacher for the whole class. Also, I want to learn new songs, games, activities, ways of teaching and repeating the routines… in order to enlarge my bag of resources.
